Adelaide Thunderbird’s Training Session

Two Adelaide Thunderbirds – Leigh Waddington and Eboni Beckford-Chambers ventured up to Mintaro last Thursday 14th May to conduct two 45 minute clinics with our junior netballers.  It was a wonderful opportunity for our juniors to get up close and personal with some of the best.  Everyone enjoyed the experience and both Leigh and Eboni were very accommodating staying for quite some time to sign autographs and take photos.  A big thank you to the Min-Man Sporting Club for providing this opportunity for our junior netballers.

The MinMan NetSetGo girls have won the ANZ Netball SA Net Set Go competition receiving 40 free tickets to the Thunderbirds last home game on May 31st and will be the  ¾ time entertainment.  They had to submit what NetSetGo means to their community along with a powerpoint presentation.  A huge thank you to NetSetGo Co-ordinator Maryanne Schwartz and her assistants Bron Ross and Carly Heinrich.    MinMan have 23 NetSetGo girls so the future is looking good!!
