| If you could invite any five people to dinner, who would they be? I get stuck on this question every time so I am just going to say Aaron and the kids because I like hanging out with them! |
| What age did you start playing Netball? 10, in the Spalding League. Used to play C, B and then A grade every Saturday! |
| What is the best thing about playing Netball? So many things! It allows our whole family to be part of a community, keeps me fit, allows me to continually learn new things and provides me with an escape! |
| Who’s your most inspiring Netballer & why: Since being coached by Marg Angove at a netball camp when I was younger I have admired her dedication to the game, which earnt her an OAM, and been amazed by her netball knowledge. I attended a course last month that she ran and she has definitely still full of knowledge! She has also produced one of Australia’s finest coaches in Jane Woodlands-Thompson, fair achievement! |
| What motivates you to keep playing? I played netball in the same team as my Mum for a few years when I first played seniors. Playing with the girls when they reach seniors is what motivates me to keep going. I know my body will definitely not hold on that long but I’ll keep giving it a crack until it fails me! |
| What’s the proudest moment in your netball career? Playing League netball was definitely something I was proud of but I think my playing life membership at South easily eclipses that. To be recognised by a club that you have devoted so much of your life to is very rewarding. I now hope to carry on that devotion with Min Man well into the future! |
